Technology Vision

Business
The past few years have seen a change in the balance of power within organisations. The emphasis has moved away from IT systems implemented and controlled by the IT department, with business processes engineered to fit the applications. Now in modern environments, it is the business managers that rule supreme, and applications are developed or purchased to fit business processes. In a world of extreme competition, organisations need to be adaptable and flexible, possessing the ability to quickly change business processes to provide maximum efficiency. Procession Software Ltd. has developed innovative process flow products that enable organisations to do that and achieve the objectives of Six Sigma Plus.

Technology
Procession Software Ltd. supports open standards and enables portability of both applications and data, utilising Java, Oracle and XML technology. An n-tier, component-based architecture ensures that data, business and presentation logic is separated and that applications are secure, scalable and reliable. Procession® makes use of industry-standard designing tools, such as Visio and Dreamweaver and will continue to support standards as they change. Design-time and run-time information is sent via XML, with transformation converting XML and binary data, enabling business-to-business Enterprise Application Integration. Support for Single Object Access Protocol (SOAP) and Universal Description, Discovery and Integration (UDDI), enables design and run-time processes to be available as web services. The future will see Procession® support multiple databases and servers, mobile and offline working.
