Try a Living Process

Overview
We have created a demonstration that allows you, the end user, to define the order of steps in a process at runtime – each run through can be different and each run can consist of a different number of steps. To use the demonstration click on:

Try a Living Process
Once your browser opens click on next to the 'Configuration of a Car' option then choose, in any order, the criteria (click and drag into priority) that is important to you (6 shown here) – any or all of the displayed criteria can be selected. As you drag the options up to the priority area you will see your process being built at the top of the screen.

Click next and the parameters of the chosen criteria will be displayed in the order in which you built the process. Choose the required option and keep going through the process by clicking next until the available configurations that matched the chosen parameters are presented.

The order and number of steps can be altered at any time by navigating back to the Order Screen either via the navigational drop-down or using the interactive process flow at the top of the screen.

This is a live configurator conceived, designed and built from scratch in 18 man-days using only process and business rules - the ability to create your own preference for the process to follow is the concept of a "Living Process™".
