PRESS RELEASE
PROCESSION LAUNCHES VERSION 4.5 OF ITS FINANCIAL
FORECASTING SUITE
Chesham, United Kingdom. October 23rd, 2003.
Business process management (BPM) specialist, Procession plc, has
launched version 4.5 of its sales and financial forecasting system,
the Financial Forecasting Suite (FFS).
This release provides new functionality specifically
requested by customers:
Multi-currency:
the ability to enter opportunities in one currency and view the values
in any other currency. In many reports the user is able to switch
between viewing in single currency or multi currency.
Sales compliance: the system will calculate the status based
on answers to a set of user-defined compliance questions.
CRM interface: the linkage of the
FFS with CRM systems to use common customer names and to provide direct
linkage via an XML gateway.
Forecast History Report: shows all
activities, from all modules, on a specific opportunity.
Meetings: the processing of meetings
has been improved with the optional ability to edit meeting notes
and enter reminder dates. The salesperson enters a reminder date for
any opportunity; on that date, an email reminder will be sent to the
salesperson. A 'frequency' option can also be activated to send a
repeat email reminder.
Meetings Report: shows all meetings
that have taken place in a specified period.
Filtered Forecast Lines: the user has
the optional ability to activate filters to reduce the number of lines
shown on the Forecast Lines page.
Procession's managing director, David Chassels,
commented: "Procession's Financial Forecasting Suite now brings true
global perspective to organisations with the capability to handle
all transactions in multiple currencies. Together with sales and revenue
compliance control and the powerful inter-connectivity provided by
the XML Gateway, the Financial Forecasting Suite is now the best solution
for real-time monitoring of sales force performance".
