PROCESSION ANNOUNCES REVENUE PLANNING EDITION

New Process Driven Sales Forecasting Solution to Manage Critical Financial Planning via the Web

Procession Revenue Planning Edition is run on an internal database, and an easy-to-use web-based interface mean that sales executives can use the system while working in the field, in real-time and without the need for any lengthy synchronization uploads. Figures can be updated and the status and history of any entrycan be checked via a standard web browser. This approach contrasts with current solutions, which tend to be prescriptive and time-consuming.

"Sales Directors know that forecasting is a critical business process requiring a dedicated in-house solution," said Paul Greenfield, CEO, Procession Limited. "But they also know that this solution must cater for the precise needs of all those with an interest in the sales process. Procession's Revenue Planning Edition provides real-time access to a sophisticated set of forecasts, while allowing busy sales professionals to continue using their existing technology and sales methodology."

Procession Revenue Planning Edition provides user-defined reports in real-time, including stagger charts, which are recognized as the most effective way of displaying forecasts. In order to cater for the different needs of different sets of users, from stakeholders and board members to sales executives, the Revenue Planning Edition can break down and display the data according to specific criteria, and from various levels in a roll-up hierarchy of reports. Other significant features include the ability to compare totals from raw forecast data against selected "judged" totals, a commissions module that can be linked to order bookings, and a range of automated notification and reminder facilities.

In common with other Editions of Procession®, the Revenue Planning Edition is a highly scalable, standards-based solution and provides a comprehensive, secure and tiered access audit trail.
