What We Do
Overview
Procession develops, markets and sells enterprise software that supports
Six Sigma Plus organisations. This software, based on leading edge
Business Process Management (BPM) technology enables organisations
to implement, control, monitor and improve their "middle-office"
processes. This leads to a continual improvement in customer focused
quality, and reduction in operational costs. Its unique approach enables
managers to improve their operations without experiencing any business
interruption.
Market Need
Organisations have to become customer focused in order to prosper.
Old business models no longer work. Improved access to information
and increased competition leaves no room for error. Every aspect of
an organisation's relationship with a customer must exceed that customer's
expectations. Understanding and improving "middle-office"
processes is key to achieving customer facing quality. Today's organisations
need software solutions that support the operational aspects of methodologies
such as Six Sigma Plus. This support must be provided without additional
IT expenditure or any business interruption.
Solutions
Procession TOA improves the effectiveness of business
managers by dramatically shortening the implement-measure-improve cycle
of real operational processes. Its methodology-neutral, graphical
approach to deployment of "middle-office" processes, coupled
with its ability to manage process change and migration, encourages
rapid progress towards higher quality and lower operational costs.
History
Procession plc, formally known as Datacore Ltd, was founded in 1994.
It is driven by the application of BPM technology to real operational
processes. A community of private individuals and
two city institutions have funded the company, which has headquarters in Chesham, UK, close
to London Heathrow Airport.
