Overview
Procession is a UK-based and owned software house, based in Buckinghamshire. For the past ten years, we have been delivering and refining business solutions using a unique, declarative language of our own design.
Procession’s software is based on leading-edge Business Process Management (BPM) thinking and enables organisations to rapidly implement applications that relate to their business processes. This leads to a continual improvement in customer focused quality, and reduction in operational costs. Procession’s unique approach enables managers to improve their operations -without experiencing any business interruption.
Company history
- Procession conceived by a business person not an IT guru to solve the “Software Problem”
- Original thinking and Research & Development in early 90s
- 1995/6 Rewrite to Windows (now any Operating System) and Oracle
- 1997 First live customers
- 2007/8 Procession identify six Patent Applications by Microsoft who were forced to recognise Procession’s prior art
- 2008 SAP try to patent building applications from the process model - Too late!
- In December 2009 IBM published a patent “Connection of value networks with information technology infrastructure and data via applications and support personnel linking Value networks with IT” which covers Procession’s capability.
